Dr. Sophia Magallanes-Tsang

We are excited to welcome Magallanes-Tsang, a new faculty member who will begin as an assistant professor of Old Testament this fall. She hails from San Fernando, California, and before coming to North Park, taught at Fresno Pacific University as an assistant professor of biblical and theological studies.

I am excited about connecting with everyone and hearing their stories, she said. I feel I serve people best when I get to know their past and present contexts as well as their goals and dreams.

We welcome Magallanes-Tsang and cant wait to witness God use her gifts of teaching and scholarship in our community.
