Since 2001, biology professor Alan Bjorkman has traveled to Costa Rica a total of 10 times, eight times with North Park students.

The now biennial trip has been fine-tuned over the years into an unforgettable—and credit-bearing—experience that allows students to observe a wide variety of species in both mountain forest and lowland pacific rainforest habitats. Photos by Ethan Oliver.
