Viking Preview Days offer you a firsthand taste of the experience by allowing you to connect with our community and learn about our vibrant student life. Viking Preview Days are an ideal opportunity for students to take the next step in their college journey and discover what makes North Park special.

First Generation College Student 101: Designed for students who are first generation college students, information will be provided regarding the application, financial aid, scholarships and admitted student process.

CRUX: A community of students who follow Jesus together throughout their first year at North Park. With curricular and co-curricular elements, Crux provides a holistic approach to transformation in Christ, equipping students for a lifelong journey of faith and formation

Civic Engagement/Catalyst 606: Students step outside of the classroom, serving and learning within their local community and gaining a closer understanding and appreciation for the increasingly urban world they live and work in

Emotion-Focused Therapy for Trauma (EFTT) is a specialized, evidence-based therapeutic approach designed to address the emotional impact of trauma. This course provides mental health professionals with a comprehensive exploration of EFTT, offering insights into the principles and practices that make this approach particularly effective in treating trauma-related emotional challenges. Key elements of EFTT covered in the course include techniques such as imaginal exposure, two-chair dialogues, and the resolution of unresolved emotional injuries.
