The College Seminar
What should you look for in your college search process? What type of school might fit you best? Where should you go?
Choosing a college is an important decision, and one that students make with the support of their families and communities. It can seem like a daunting task. The College Seminar is one resource that ÂÜÀòÉç’s Office of Church Relations provides to help you start to answer these big questions in the comfort of your church home. (We also offer a for any high school student or parent.)
Lasting around an hour and a half, this seminar can be presented to high school students and parents in a wide range of venues: youth groups, churches, camps, retreats, or small groups of families in a community. Faculty, staff, and students from the University will present examples from their work and experience at North Park, guiding high schoolers and their parents through the planning and investigating process for college, no matter what school a student wants to attend in the future. We invite you to explore the great possibilities college presents for your future—and we’ll even bring dinner.
