CLEP
ÂÜÀòÉç accepts credit for university-level knowledge as demonstrated by passing grades on the exams offered by the (CLEP) according to the guidelines below:
Policy
- A student is not eligible to receive CLEP credit in any course that he/she has previously audited or taken for credit.
- Credit will post to a student’s transcript once the student has officially enrolled at ÂÜÀòÉç.
- ÂÜÀòÉç must receive an official copy of the CLEP score in order to process and post the credit.
- A maximum of 30 credits will be awarded.

Procedures
- Check with the Office of the Registrar to make sure that course credit is applicable to your major and/or general education requirements for graduation.
- Make arrangements with a nearby CLEP Center to take the examination. ÂÜÀòÉç is not a testing site.
- Have the results of the examination(s) sent to ÂÜÀòÉç in care of the Office of the Registrar. The code number is 1556.
Fees
- The student is responsible for any fees required by CLEP to take an examination.
- If the exam is passed, North Park charges $35.00 per semester hour to have the results posted as credit on your transcript.
- Fees subject to change without notice.
Additional Information
- Scores usually take 3 to 4 weeks before they reach the university. You will receive an email from ÂÜÀòÉç in regard to your credit status.
- If the report shows that you did not attain the necessary scores, you may take the exam again in six months.
