Physical Education Student Learning Outcomes

  1.  Apply physical education content and instructional concepts related to the development of a physically educated person.
  2. Develop and provide learning opportunities that support physical, cognitive, social, and
    emotional development.
  3. Create appropriate instruction adapted to demonstrate an understanding of how individuals
    differ in their approaches to learning.
  4. Plan developmentally appropriate instruction units which foster the development of a
    physically educated person.
  5. Use varied types of assessment and understands their contribution to the overall program
    and the development of the physical, cognitive, social, and emotional domains.
  6. Reflect upon individual performance and understands its contribution to overall development
    and actively seek opportunities to sustain professional growth.
  7. Use information technology to enhance learning and personal and professional productivity.
  8. Foster collaborative relationships with colleagues, parents/guardians, and community
    agencies to support the development of a physically educated person.
