Communication Studies (BA)

Why Major in Communication Studies?

Successful leaders in every industry are people who can communicate with, relate to, and work well with others. A communication studies degree will help you develop these practical and critical skills—including the ability to think, speak, and write clearly, and work efficiently in a team environment. Graduates can find work in many areas, including nonprofit, media, business, and government.

Conflict Transformation

Conflict among people is a constant in our world; how we transform it into something creative and helpful is an evolving science. North Park’s new major in Conflict Transformation Studies is an interdisciplinary approach to the theory, analysis, history, culture, and transformational processes involved in conflict situations, justice, and peace building.
