Test of Essential Academic Skills穢 (TEAS)
Eligible candidates for the nursing program are required to complete the Assessment Technologies Institute簧 Test of Essential Academic Skills穢 (TEAS), a diagnostic test that students take as they go through the admissions process. ATI TEAS is the most widely adopted admissions exam in nursing education because it effectively evaluates students academic readiness for the rigors of nursing studies.

The TEAS consists of:
- 209-minute timed assessment
- 170 multiple-choice questions with 4 answer options and alternate-type items.
- 150 scored questions and 20 unscored pre-test questions.

The student will register for the TEAS Online Proctored by ATI at . The student will choose ATI Remote Proctor Nursing. Please ensure that the scores are sent to 蹤獲扦. Follow the directions provided by ATI.
Every student must prepare for this test. ATI, the official provider of the exam, recommends that you allow yourself at least six weeks to prepare for it. The ATI website has a how to prepare tab. Explore their study materials to optimize performance and successfully achieve a level of Proficient, which is the minimum level of preparedness required for admission to the nursing program at North Park.
The TEAS needs to have been taken within one year of the students application. If you take more than once, the highest score will be considered for your application.
Please note that the Selection Committee in the School of Nursing uses a point admission system for the baccalaureate program points will be allocated based on the TEAS score the higher the score the more points a student can achieve.
The TEAS exam needs to be completed prior to submitting your application.
